The client and the brief

We built a custom business management system for RNR Group — one that adapts to the company’s own business processes, not the other way around. The goal was a single system where client management, invoicing and project tracking don’t live in three separate tools with three separate databases, but on one shared, transparent platform.

Why custom instead of off-the-shelf?

Off-the-shelf ERP systems work well where a company’s processes are close to the industry average. Where the workflow differs, adopting a boxed product really means the company adapting to the software — with training costs, workaround spreadsheets, and an ocean of features most of which nobody ever uses.
